Rear Admiral Thomas J. Porter

It is with great regret that we must announce that our dear friend and long-time supporter, Rear Admiral Thomas Porter, USN (Ret.), passed away. He was a remarkable family man who served his country with honor. Despite battling many health complications, he always made it his goal to attend the Kali’s Cure Golf Outing & Auction and, until this year, he never missed an event! He will surely be missed by everyone who had the pleasure to meet him but we know that his wife, Carol, and his son, Scott-otherwise known as his “bestus-bud”, along with Scott’s wife, Krystal, and his two grandsons, Rhett and Reid, will carry his legacy and keep his memory alive through the countless stories he was known to share. Thank you, Tom, you will be forever missed and we will always be grateful for your generosity!

In lieu of flowers, Tom's family has asked that memorials be made to: Kali's Cure for Paralysis Foundation through this website or mailed to 5475 Blue Heron Drive, Alma, MI  48801.
